Get Ready! The OnePlus 13T Launches This Month

Posted on 1 April 2025

The OnePlus 13T is officially on its way, set to launch this month. This upcoming flagship is expected to be a more compact iteration compared to the OnePlus 13. In a playful reveal, OnePlus teased the announcement with a mock event featuring the fictitious OnePlus Hammer, a device supposedly capable of quantum manipulation. The twist of the event came when the host transformed into the actual OnePlus 13T, solidifying the phone’s impending arrival.

While OnePlus has not provided extensive details about the 13T, early leaks indicate some notable changes. One significant design tweak involves moving away from the circular camera island featured on the OnePlus 13. Instead, it’s rumored that a rectangular camera setup will take its place, likely housing a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization and another 50 MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom. The display is anticipated to be a vibrant 6.31-inch panel, boasting a 1.5K resolution paired with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and scrolling.

Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the same one found in other high-end devices like the Galaxy S25 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Battery life is projected to be a standout feature, with a substantial 6,200 mAh battery complemented by 80W fast charging—surpassing the OnePlus 13’s battery specifications. The OnePlus 13T seems to cater to users looking for robust flagship performance without the bulk of the larger model. The 6.3-inch screen may be compact compared to its competitors, making it appealing to fans of smaller devices while still maintaining impressive battery capabilities.
