According to recent reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are expected to launch in just a few weeks, generating excitement among fans of foldable devices. As Samsung’s flagship foldable phones, the Galaxy Z series stands at a premium price point, making them less popular in terms of sales compared to the Galaxy S series. The launch of these new models will likely present additional challenges for consumers aiming to get their hands on these innovative devices from the onset. Recent leaks suggest that the pricing for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 could be higher than that of their predecessors.
Specifically, estimates indicate a price increase of approximately €200 for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and €100 for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 when compared to the previous models. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 had a launch price of around €2,000, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 retailed for about €1,320. Notably, these figures are based on European pricing, which typically includes a higher VAT compared to the United States. Samsung’s current pricing strategy raises concerns among potential customers, who hope for a more favorable cost, similar to last year’s figures.
In terms of specifications, both new models will be available in 256 GB and 512 GB variants. As for colors, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is set to come in Silver Shadow and Jet Black, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be offered in Black, Blue Shadow, and Coral Red. Though Samsung has begun teasing the Galaxy Z Fold 7, there is no official confirmation regarding its announcement date. However, well-known leaker Evan Blass suggests a potential unveiling on July 9.
