Leaked Motorola Edge 60 promotional materials reveal specs comparable to Samsung’s midrange competition.

Posted on 20 April 2025

Recent leaks indicate that Motorola’s upcoming Edge 60 smartphone is set to make a significant impact in the premium midrange market. Promotional materials have provided insight into its design and specifications, showcasing a device that could rival some of Samsung’s leading midrange offerings. The Motorola Edge 60 maintains the familiar aesthetics of the Edge series, featuring a quad-curved display and a sleek rear design reminiscent of other recent models. However, its appeal goes beyond mere aesthetics.

The leaked specifications highlight impressive hardware that could attract a wide range of users. Expected features of the Motorola Edge 60 include a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 1220 x 2712, quad-curved edges, and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, paired with a substantial 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The camera capabilities are also noteworthy, boasting a 50 MP main camera along with a 50 MP front-facing camera, both of which promise high-quality photography.

Connectivity and performance are further enhanced by a robust 5,200 mAh battery capable of 68W fast wired charging, as well as a durability rating of MIL-STD-810H. The phone is expected to come with a two-year warranty, adding to its appeal for consumers. Motorola may announce the Edge 60 on April 24, alongside the Razr 60 series. Given the success of the Edge 60 Fusion model, expectations are high for this standard version, especially if it can deliver superior camera performance and overall power.

While it remains uncertain whether the Edge 60 will be available in the U.S. market, its specifications suggest it could be a formidable addition to Motorola’s smartphone lineup.
