Motorola Edge 60 Stylus: First-of-Its-Kind Phone Officially Revealed Before April 15 Launch

Posted on 10 April 2025

Motorola has long been known for producing affordable smartphones with stylus capabilities, but the newly launched Edge 60 Stylus marks a significant departure from previous models. Notably, it is the first Motorola phone to feature a built-in stylus that is not part of the Moto G series. Its design, specifications, and features mirror those of the recently released Moto G Stylus (2025) in the U.S., suggesting that the Edge 60 Stylus might not see a release in the U.S. market, particularly under this name. In India, the marketing campaign for the Edge 60 Stylus has been surprisingly low-key.

As of now, there are no social media promotions, and although the device is listed as “coming soon” on Motorola’s regional website, its specifications have already been confirmed. The Edge 60 Stylus boasts a 6.67-inch P-OLED display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and running on Android 15, with two guaranteed OS upgrades and three years of security patches. The device is equipped with 256GB of internal storage and supports microSD expansion up to 1TB. Other notable features include an 8GB RAM configuration, a 5,000mAh battery with 68W TurboPower charging, and a versatile camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 32MP front camera.

Motorola has announced an official launch date for April 15 in India, anticipating pre-orders shortly before that date. The expected price point is around $270, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers in both India and potentially in European markets as well. The Edge 60 Stylus stands to maintain Motorola’s reputation for providing quality mid-range devices.
