For me, technology should be both visually appealing and functional. Asus has recently introduced four stunning limited-edition Zenbook models that exemplify this philosophy. What sets these laptops apart is their unique finish, crafted from a material called Ceraluminum, which Asus developed in-house.
Ceraluminum combines properties of ceramic and aluminum, providing three times the toughness of anodized aluminum while remaining lightweight, making it ideal for portable devices. Each laptop among the new models is inspired by a natural phenomenon, showcasing a distinctive texture and pattern. The first model, Obsidian Black, draws inspiration from Iceland’s volcanic landscapes, featuring a finish that resembles frozen lava flows.
Pamukkale White evokes Turkey’s mineral-rich terraces, showcasing dual golden tones with curves shaped through CNC diamond-cut milling. Terra Mocha captures the essence of Jordan’s sandstone cliffs with a unique rosette pattern embedded into the material. Last but not least, Luminous Blue, which is my favorite, reflects the enchanting glow of bioluminescent beaches, created through laser-induced oxidation that shifts with ambient light.
While aesthetics are important, performance can’t be overlooked. Built on the Zenbook S14 Copilot+ PC platform, these new Zenbooks are powerful yet slim and portable. They come equipped with an effective vapor chamber cooling system, a dedicated Windows Copilot key for easy access to AI tools, and a spacious 16:10 seamless touchpad with smart gesture support.
You can expect impressive features, including a vibrant 3K 120Hz Asus Lumina OLED display and Harman Kardon-certified speakers, along with powerful internals like Intel’s latest Core Ultra processors, Intel Arc graphics, up to 32 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of SSD storage. As for the release date, Asus has yet to announce when these eye-catching laptops will be available, so stay tuned for updates.
