One UI 8 Beta 3 Introduces an Endearing New AI Feature That Captivates Users

Posted on 1 July 2025

The latest beta version of One UI 8, known as Beta 3, introduces an intriguing new feature for users. The Now Brief function has been enhanced with AI capabilities that remind you of upcoming events, particularly birthdays. This enhancement allows users to not only receive reminders but also to generate and send AI-crafted birthday cards within moments. Upon receiving a birthday reminder, tapping on the option brings up a pop-up window.

Here, users can input specific details for the card and choose from various artistic styles to create a personalized image. With just a few taps, you can then send this fun and unique birthday card directly to the recipient. In addition to birthday reminders and AI-generated cards, Beta 3 also improves other functionalities of Now Brief. This includes reminders for parking spots, notifications for upcoming events, and smart home alerts, making it a valuable tool for organizing daily life.

The stability of the beta program thus far indicates that a couple more beta builds may be on the way before the official release. Now Brief is a feature Samsung launched with the Galaxy S25 series to deliver summaries of important information based on AI’s analysis. It provides useful briefings multiple times a day, including morning updates with the weather and events. While One UI 8 may not bring significant changes compared to its predecessor, it focuses on refined features and helpful additions.

As for the AI birthday card feature, it can serve as a practical solution for acquaintances. However, for close friends, a more personal touch through direct communication or gifts is preferred. Overall, this addition highlights Samsung’s continuous innovation in enhancing user experience.
