Recent leaks reveal exciting updates about the upcoming Pixel Watch 4, including new color options and band styles. Reportedly, Google plans to introduce four new case colors along with a variety of band choices. The leaks, shared by Android Headlines, present what appear to be official renders of the watch, which maintain a similar design to last year’s model, with color variation being a significant visual change.
The new case colors for the Pixel Watch 4 include Black, Silver, Gold, and Moonstone. In terms of band styles, the Active Band will be available in Obsidian, Porcelain, and Moonstone, while the Sport Band will come in Indigo, Iris, and Limoncello. Although these represent only a handful of options, it is likely that additional colors will also be offered upon release.
One noteworthy change for the Active Sport band is the introduction of a new material designed to enhance comfort. Reports suggest that this band may also come in a broader spectrum of colors. However, the Stretch Band is expected to remain exclusive to the smaller Pixel Watch 4 model, similar to last year.
While previous rumors hinted at slimmer bezels, the latest images indicate that the bezels remain unchanged. Therefore, any improvements might be subtle. On the technical side, the Pixel Watch 4 is anticipated to feature a revamped side-mounted charging system, which would mark the third different charging solution across four generations of Google watches.
Additionally, a larger and faster-charging battery is rumored, a much-anticipated upgrade for users. As Google prepares to launch the Pixel Watch 4 alongside the Pixel 10 series on August 20, it faces fierce competition from brands like Samsung and Apple. Despite limited visual updates, the focus on internal enhancements could make the Pixel Watch 4 a standout product in the wearables market this fall.
