Google Pixel Watch 4 Might Avoid Anticipated Price Increase Many Consumers Expected

Posted on 20 July 2025

A recent leak has hinted that Google may maintain the same pricing structure for the upcoming Pixel Watch 4, despite the global cost pressures that typically influence tech pricing. According to the report from Dealabs, the company might set prices in Europe at levels similar to those of last year’s models, suggesting a possibility of alignment with pricing in the U.S. market as well.

For context, the previous generation, the Pixel Watch 3, was priced at $349 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model and $399 for the LTE version. The larger 45mm model had starting prices of $399 for Wi-Fi and $449 for LTE.

Given that this year’s enhancements to the Pixel Watch 4 seem minimal, it wouldn’t be surprising if Google decides to keep prices steady. Further speculation around the Pixel Watch 4 indicates that it will utilize the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor, which was also featured in its predecessor.

This suggests that any internal upgrades will be evolutionary rather than revolutionary. However, leaked information points to larger battery capacities, faster charging options, and the addition of a new co-processor focused on AI tasks.

Of course, external factors could still influence final pricing. Some Pixel devices are assembled in China, and changes in U.S. trade policy might introduce tariffs or additional costs for Google.

Thus, while this potential pricing strategy is promising, the final outcome remains uncertain. Google is expected to unveil the Pixel Watch 4 at the Made by Google event on August 20.

The prospect of holding prices steady amid modest updates could help Google establish a more stable offering, although the competitiveness against models such as Samsung’s Watch 8 or Apple’s anticipated Series 10 remains uncertain.
