The T-Mobile Revvl 8 Pro recently emerged in a listing by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), which suggests its imminent launch. This follow-up to the Revvl line, originally introduced by T-Mobile in August 2017, is set to replace the Revvl 7 and Revvl 7 Pro that were released last year. The WPC listing indicates that the Revvl 8 Pro will support 15W wireless charging and utilizes Qi version 1.3.3, an Extended Power Profile (EPP). Notably, it does not support the newer Qi 2 standard, which means it lacks magnetic alignment features.
In terms of design, the Revvl 8 Pro showcases a refreshed two-tone aesthetic. It retains the quad-camera system from its predecessor but with a streamlined look; the cameras and flash are now flush against the rear panel, unlike the protruding module of the Revvl 7 Pro. Expected camera specs include a 50MP Wide camera, a 5MP Ultra-wide camera, a 2MP Macro camera, and a 2MP Depth camera aimed at enhancing portrait modes and AR applications. The display is anticipated to be a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED, consistent with last year’s Pro model.
It may also continue to feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 application processor alongside a robust 5000 mAh battery. As for storage, the device is likely to offer 256GB of internal storage with support for microSD expansion up to 2TB. The Revvl 8 Pro is expected to maintain its predecessor’s pricing around $249.99, with T-Mobile likely rolling out various promotional offers upon release. Insider information suggests an August launch, coinciding with the introduction of the more budget-friendly Revvl 8, both of which will ship with Android 15 pre-installed.
