Xiaomi’s Upcoming Wearable Features Slim Bezels and Extended Battery Life, Reports Reuters and AP News

Posted on 8 June 2025

Xiaomi, the Chinese technology giant, is set to introduce its latest wearable, the Smart Band 10, showcasing enhancements that make it a compelling choice for fitness enthusiasts. With frequent product launches from Xiaomi and its subsidiary brands such as Redmi, Poco, and Amazfit, anticipation builds around this upcoming fitness tracker. The Smart Band 10 features a 1.72-inch AMOLED display, which is an upgrade from the Smart Band 9’s 1.62-inch screen. The new model boasts ultra-thin bezels and supports a 60Hz refresh rate with a brightness of up to 1,500 nits, enhancing visibility in various lighting conditions.

Although the design remains somewhat standard for fitness devices, the larger display offers added functionality. Battery life is a key highlight of the Smart Band 10, promising up to 21 days on a single charge, similar to its predecessor. Although specific battery size details are not disclosed, the device can recharge fully in about an hour, a practical feature for users who value efficiency. On the software front, the Smart Band 10 includes over 150 sports modes, advanced features for swimming, sleep tracking with REM analysis, and continuous heart rate monitoring.

While Xiaomi has not released pricing information yet, it’s expected that the Smart Band 10 will maintain a price comparable to that of the Smart Band 9, which retailed for €40/£35 in Europe. This pricing strategy, combined with the added features, positions the Smart Band 10 as an appealing wearable for both fitness newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts.
