T-Mobile’s New Promo Offers $450 for Adding a Line and Upgrading Your Plan

Posted on 13 June 2025

If you’re dissatisfied with your current mobile provider and considering a switch to T-Mobile, there’s an enticing opportunity on the horizon. Costco will kick off a promotion next week that rewards customers with a total of $450 when they port their number to T-Mobile while financing a device. According to a leak from the Costco July 2025 Coupon Book, customers can benefit from this promotion between June 18 and July 20. Those who switch their number to a new line on T-Mobile’s Experience More or Experience Beyond plan and purchase a new phone will receive a $200 Costco Shop Card along with a $250 Virtual Visa prepaid card.

To qualify for the $450 total, you must transfer your number from an eligible competitor. This includes providers such as AT&T, Verizon, Claro, UScellular, Xfinity, Spectrum, and Liberty Puerto Rico. Existing T-Mobile customers can also take advantage of this promotion by adding a new line and acquiring a new device on the specified plans. This offer can be combined with many existing promotions, including free flagship devices, although some exceptions may apply.

Importantly, each account can claim up to twelve $200 Costco Shop cards and four $250 Visa cards, potentially totaling $3,400 if twelve lines are activated. Costco has established itself as a favorite for T-Mobile customers by waiving the standard $35 Device Connection Charge. This promotion presents a valuable opportunity for anyone considering the new Experience plans, which, while offering the most features, are also the priciest options available. As interest in switching providers grows, this Costco-T-Mobile collaboration offers a financial incentive that many consumers may find hard to resist.
