Recent leaks suggest that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 FE will feature a slimmer profile and reduced bezels compared to its predecessor, the S24 FE. With various foldable devices expected to be announced soon, Samsung is also likely preparing to unveil its high-end non-foldable models by year’s end. Speculation regarding the existence of the Galaxy S25 FE has intensified, giving fans a glimpse of its anticipated design.
While the Galaxy S25 FE will not dramatically overhaul the aesthetic of the S24 FE, there are notable improvements that should excite budget-conscious users and longtime Samsung enthusiasts alike. The new model is expected to sport a familiar design that includes a thinner profile of 7.4mm, which is noticeably slimmer than the S24 FE’s 8mm thickness. Although not as thin as the Galaxy S25 Edge, this reduction aligns with Samsung’s ongoing trend of making their devices more streamlined.
Moreover, the Galaxy S25 FE is anticipated to be slightly shorter and narrower, at 161.4mm by 76.6mm, while retaining the same 6.7-inch screen size. This is likely to result in a decrease in bezel size, enhancing its visual appeal. The device will continue to feature high-quality AMOLED technology, support for a 120Hz refresh rate, and a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.
However, there’s concern that the Galaxy S25 FE might see a price increase, possibly due to maintaining or even upgrading the 4,700mAh battery. While the front camera may see an enhancement from 10 to 12MP, early reports suggest the triple rear camera setup will remain unchanged. The use of the Exynos 2400e processor raises further questions regarding value, especially if the price eclipses that of the S24 FE.
Despite these uncertainties, a potential configuration offering 12GB RAM and 256GB storage could justify a higher price tag.
