Introducing the OnePlus Pad 3: Sleek Design, Intelligent Features, and Unmatched Power

Posted on 5 June 2025

The OnePlus Pad 3 has officially launched, showcasing a sleek design powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This latest tablet iteration from OnePlus aims to secure its position as a top contender in the tablet market for 2025.

True to the legacy of the OnePlus Pad series, the Pad 3 combines stylish aesthetics with versatility. At first glance, the OnePlus Pad 3 may appear similar to its predecessor, but it boasts a thinner profile—making it the slimmest tablet from OnePlus to date.

Available in two refined colors, Storm Blue and Frosted Silver, the device measures under 6mm thick. OnePlus has utilized a different aluminum material to achieve a lightweight feel while maintaining a robust all-metal unibody design.

Additionally, the tablet includes a newly redesigned camera and features eight symmetrically placed speakers for an exceptional audio experience. The Pad 3 is equipped with a 13.2-inch LCD screen that delivers stunning visuals with a resolution of 3.4k and a pixel density of 315 PPI.

It also has received the TÜV Rheinland Eye Care 4.0 certification, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience. In terms of accessories, OnePlus has introduced an upgraded keyboard with PC-style keycaps and an AI button.

Complementing this is the OnePlus Stylo 2, which now provides 16,000 levels of pressure sensitivity and added shortcuts for seamless use. The tri-fold folio case allows you to select various viewing angles to enhance your productivity.

Performance-wise, the Pad 3 is powered by the impressive Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, promising significant boosts in CPU and GPU performance. Users can opt for either 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage or 16GB with 512GB.

With a hefty 12,140mAh battery, OnePlus claims the tablet can run videos for over 17 hours and last up to 70 days on standby. Pricing for the OnePlus Pad 3 starts at $699.99 and is available for pre-order.

The device operates on OxygenOS 15, offering features tailored to its larger screen and enhanced AI capabilities. Users can expect three Android OS updates and six years of security updates, ensuring the tablet remains up-to-date for years to come.
