The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has shown up in another leak, this time with real-world images that offer a closer look at its design. The latest photo was shared by the leaker Setsuna Digital on Weibo, presenting a glimpse of Samsung’s anticipated smartwatch just ahead of its expected launch. Recent weeks have seen a spike in leaks surrounding the Galaxy Watch 8 series.
Alongside CAD renders showcasing the entire lineup, earlier sightings of the Classic model appeared in an eBay listing, suggesting that test or retail units might already be circulating. This most recent image further supports the growing evidence about the device’s design and features. The leaked photo reveals a metal watch body complemented by a black leather band, alongside two side buttons and a physical rotating bezel.
A significant change from previous Classic models is the new “squircle” shape, which made its debut with the Galaxy Watch Ultra. This design approach seems to be the new direction Samsung is adopting for its wearables. Moreover, the rotating bezel appears to be thinner compared to older versions, and the display is likely larger, though these details are yet to be confirmed by Samsung.
Reports also suggest enhancements such as a brighter screen and increased durability for the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. Samsung has not made an official announcement regarding the Galaxy Watch 8 series. However, the company is expected to unveil it during its Unpacked event on July 9, alongside its latest foldable devices.
With multiple leaks supporting the same design narrative, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic looks set to make its debut with a refreshed aesthetic, which may distinguish it from the popular Ultra model in Samsung’s watch lineup.
