Don’t Miss This Apple Promotion: The Perfect Opportunity to Save Before the Fall Semester!

Posted on 8 June 2025

Apple is gearing up for its annual back-to-school promotion in the United States, with this year’s offers expected to become available on June 17. As in previous years, the tech giant will provide gift cards in addition to education discounts on select Mac and iPad purchases. Aligning with its traditional summer strategy, Apple’s campaign will reportedly mirror the structure from 2022, 2023, and 2024. Students, parents, faculty, and staff who qualify for Apple’s education pricing will receive gift cards with their eligible product purchases.

While the exact values of these gift cards haven’t been officially revealed, previous promotions have typically offered between $100 and $150 for MacBook models and around $50 to $100 for iPads. Eligible products generally encompass the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, iPad Air, and iPad Pro, though some exclusions may apply. This promotion complements Apple’s standard education store pricing, which already includes discounts for eligible products. For instance, a basic MacBook Air might be about $100 cheaper through the education store compared to regular retail prices.

When combined with the gift card, this can lead to significant savings, especially for students preparing for the new academic year. Apple’s back-to-school initiative also serves as a strategy to boost hardware sales during the slower summer months. While major new hardware launches are not expected in June, Apple has updated its iPad Pro and iPad Air models earlier this spring. The promotion will be accessible through Apple’s online education store or in physical Apple Store locations throughout the US.

Eligibility verification will typically be required, as Apple uses a third-party service to authenticate student or educator status. The offer is anticipated to last until early September, allowing shoppers ample time to take advantage of the deals before the fall semester begins. In addition to the promotional details, it’s important for community discussions to remain on-topic and respectful. This ensures a constructive environment where all opinions can be expressed appropriately.

Moderation will be handled fairly, and anyone facing issues with their posts or accounts can reach out for clarification.
