The anticipated color options for Samsung’s upcoming smartwatches, which include the Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and Watch Ultra (2025), may not be particularly thrilling. However, the core features and specifications of the devices often take precedence over aesthetics. As the Unpacked event in July approaches, some details have surfaced thanks to a reliable social media leaker.
For the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic, the revealed colors are rather mundane. Reportedly, both models will come in graphite and silver, while the Watch 8 Classic will feature the classic black and white shades. These color selections echo those of previous models, such as the Galaxy Watch 7, which offered slightly more vibrant options like green and cream.
The sizing of the new watches follows a familiar pattern as well. The Galaxy Watch 8 will be available in 40mm and 44mm cases, which are consistent with the previous Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 6 sizes. Contrary to the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, which had 43mm and 47mm options, the upcoming Classic model will only have one size: a substantial 46mm, sharing a sizing convention with the new Galaxy Watch Ultra.
As for the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025), its color offerings are expected to include Titanium Blue, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Silver. While these hues may not stand out significantly, the expected durability and high build quality are likely to be its main attraction. Interestingly, the new model is rumored to have 64GB of internal storage, doubling the capacity of its predecessor.
While the Galaxy Watch Ultra may not be considered the most fashionable device, it aims to excel in functionality and performance, which will be crucial for its success in the competitive smartwatch market.
