Realme GT 7 Series: Global Launch Date Announced for Battery Powerhouse

Posted on 9 May 2025

Realme has officially announced the global launch date for its GT 7 series, which promises to disrupt the mid-range smartphone market. Set to be unveiled on May 27 in Paris, France, the lineup features the Realme GT 7 and GT 7T, showcasing impressive design and performance.

The GT 7 will be available in two color options: IceSense Black and IceSense Blue, while the GT 7T makes a bold statement with its vibrant yellow finish. One of the phone’s notable innovations is the IceSense Graphene cooling system, which claims to enhance heat dissipation more effectively than traditional copper systems.

This advanced technology can reportedly lower the chipset temperature by up to 6°C, ensuring optimal performance during use. In terms of photography, users can look forward to a dual rear camera setup featuring 50 MP, alongside a 16 MP front-facing camera.

The devices are expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9300+ chipset, with options for RAM ranging from 12 GB to 16 GB, and storage capacities that include 256 GB, 512 GB, or an impressive 1 TB. In China, the starting price for the GT 7 is approximately $355, but global pricing may vary.

The specifications indicate a flagship experience with a 6.78-inch full-HD+ OLED display and a remarkable 144Hz refresh rate. With a substantial 7,200mAh battery, the GT 7 series promises longevity that surpasses most competitors.

Additionally, IP69 water and dust resistance provides durability beyond typical mid-range offerings. As the GT 7 series gears up for its launch, it stands as a noteworthy contender against other mid-range devices like the upcoming OnePlus 13s, which features the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and the recently launched Motorola Edge 60 Pro.
