T-Mobile Unveils Two New Plans with a 5-Year Price Lock Guarantee for Customers

Posted on 23 April 2025

Today marks a significant day for T-Mobile as the company unveils new plans and updates to its pricing structure. The first of these plans is called Experience More, an enhanced version of Go5G Plus. This plan includes features such as upgrades every two years, 60GB of hotspot data, and T-Mobile’s T-Satellite service through the end of the year. It also offers 15GB of data in Canada and Mexico, along with 5GB in over 215 countries.

Remarkably, the Experience More plan is priced at $85 per month per line with an autopay discount, making it $5 cheaper than its predecessor, Go5G Plus. The second plan introduced is Experience Beyond, which costs $100 per month with autopay. This plan encompasses all the benefits of Go5G Next, in addition to offering 250GB of high-speed hotspot data and T-Satellite. It provides 30GB of data in Mexico and Canada monthly, alongside 15GB in over 215 countries.

T-Mobile claims that this plan represents “the most value-packed plan in wireless,” providing an added $200 value for each line compared to Go5G Next. T-Mobile is also extending the benefits of Experience Beyond to current Go5G Next customers, ensuring they do not feel left out. New plan customers will receive the same perks as existing subscribers, including Magenta Status, digital benefits, device upgrades, free in-flight Wi-Fi, and low-cost device connection plans. To entice families, T-Mobile has announced that switching from AT&T or Verizon can yield a 20 percent monthly savings.

Additionally, T-Mobile is introducing a new five-year price guarantee for both postpaid and Metro prepaid customers, whereby call, text, and data prices will remain unchanged for five years after signing up. However, it is important to note that taxes and fees are additional and not protected by the price lock guarantee. The new plans will be available starting April 23. Updated versions will cater to specific customer segments such as small businesses, seniors, and military personnel.

These announcements seem a direct response to competitive offers from Verizon and customer dissatisfaction over price increases in other plans. Fierce Wireless reports that the new Experience plans will replace the Go5G Next and Go5G offerings, which will be phased out.
