Razr Plus (2025) Appears on Geekbench, Revealing Important Specifications and Features

Posted on 14 April 2025

The Motorola Razr Plus (2025) recently appeared on Geekbench, leading to the confirmation of some impressive specifications. The anticipation surrounding this device is growing as its launch approaches.

This model, part of the Razr 60 series, is set to debut on April 24, and will also be released in the US under the Razr (2025) name. Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the Razr Plus is expected to offer a significant performance boost compared to its predecessor, which utilizes the less powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The integration of this premium chip allows the Razr Plus to enter flagship territory, promising users an exceptional experience with enhanced speed and efficiency. In addition to boosting performance, the Razr Plus is rumored to come with a larger 4,200 mAh battery, which features 68W fast charging capabilities.

This would represent an upgrade from last year’s 4,000 mAh battery with slower 45W charging. Such updates suggest that Motorola could have a strong contender in the competitive foldable smartphone market.

Moreover, the testing results revealed that the unit featured 16 GB of RAM, with speculation that an even more powerful 18 GB variant could be in development. The device will run on Android 15 and include the Adreno 830 GPU, which places it in direct competition with other leading smartphones in the market today, such as the Galaxy S25 and the OnePlus 13.

Motorola is also teasing some artificial intelligence features, potentially including its own AI assistant. New buttons on the device could offer customizable shortcuts, aligning with trends seen in other top-tier smartphones.

Overall, if these expectations hold true, the Razr Plus stands to be an impressive addition to Motorola’s offerings in the foldable space.
