Motorola, one of the leading smartphone manufacturers, has recently introduced an intriguing new mid-range device for the US market while simultaneously preparing for another launch in India next week. The upcoming Edge 60 Stylus has been anticipated since it was first leaked about a month ago and is expected to feature similarities to the Moto G Stylus (2025). However, it does not have a direct predecessor. This new addition to the Motorola Edge 60 series will likely closely resemble the recently launched Edge 60 Fusion, especially in terms of pricing.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra, renowned as one of the best Android phones available, can be seen as a benchmark, though comparing it with a budget-friendly device like the Edge 60 Stylus may not be completely fair. The S25 Ultra, which includes a stylus, starts around $1,510 in India, making the predicted price of the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus—approximately $267—five times cheaper if forecasts hold true. This pricing would be competitive even if the device lacked a stylus. At first glance, the Edge 60 Stylus may not seem particularly remarkable.
Its physical design appears somewhat generic, particularly when compared to its sibling, the Edge 60 Fusion. The device’s profile is relatively chunky for a large 6.7-inch smartphone, and its camera module looks almost identical to that of the Edge 60 Fusion, with color options that are also unexciting. Nonetheless, the Edge 60 Stylus’s primary attractions will be its stylus feature and competitive pricing, appealing to budget-conscious consumers. While it’s doubtful this device will launch in the US due to the recent Moto G Stylus (2025) announcement, there is still hope for its availability in select European markets and India.
Further leaks are expected leading up to the anticipated April 17 launch date.
