Motorola is gearing up for the launch of its highly anticipated Razr+ (2025) on April 24th. The company has teased the device through a new video, indicating that it will be known as the Razr 60 Ultra outside of the United States. In the video, the phone is showcased in a position that resembles the letter “A,” emphasizing the innovative flip design. Accompanying the visuals is the tagline, “the future of flip is coming.”
According to a leaked specification sheet, the Razr+ (2025) is not all hype.
The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor— the same chip found in the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. It promises impressive performance with options for up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The internal display will reach a size of 7 inches and will feature an LTPO AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and brightness levels hitting 4,500 nits. On the outside, the phone will have a 4-inch LTPO AMOLED display that also supports a 165Hz refresh rate and can achieve up to 3,000 nits of brightness.
The camera setup is noteworthy, including a 50MP primary lens with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP front camera. Its battery life sees an upgrade with a 4,700 mAh capacity, supporting 68W wired and 30W wireless charging. Running on Android 15, the Razr+ (2025) measures 171.48 x 73.99 x 7.29mm when unfolded, and 88.12 x 73.99 x 15.69mm when closed. With a weight of 199 grams, it will also offer connectivity options such as Dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and USB Type-C.
If these specs hold true, the Razr+ (2025) could very well become a formidable competitor to the Galaxy Z Flip 7, potentially attracting new customers away from Samsung.
