Xfinity Offers Free Mobile Lines and Enhanced Internet Speeds for Customers

Posted on 11 March 2025

Xfinity customers are in for some exciting news, as Comcast has announced significant upgrades in internet speeds for over 20 million subscribers, all at no extra cost. In addition to these speed enhancements, eligible customers will also receive a free Xfinity Mobile line, making the offer even more attractive. Importantly, the speed upgrades are not restricted to higher-tier plans but extend to all Xfinity Internet packages, including the NOW prepaid products.

Comcast claims that users can expect their upload speeds to increase by 50 to 100 percent, with most tiers seeing enhanced download speeds as well. Emily Waldorf, Senior VP of Consumer Products at Comcast Connectivity and Platforms, emphasized the unmatched connectivity experience that these improvements, coupled with their advanced WiFi technology, offer. In addition to speed upgrades, Comcast is incentivizing both new and existing Xfinity Internet customers by providing a line of Unlimited on Xfinity Mobile for one year with the purchase of a 400 Mbps plan or faster.

Customers can easily claim this offer through their Xfinity account online or via the mobile app. These new perks are a result of Comcast’s robust fiber-based network and the rising competition in the internet service industry. This strategic move is noteworthy as it targets both internet and mobile users simultaneously with a single promotion.

Customers can access the 400 Mbps plan along with a free Xfinity Mobile line for an incredibly low price of just $30 per month for the first year. However, it’s essential to note that 30 GB of usage will trigger reduced speeds on the mobile line, making it not entirely “unlimited.” Nevertheless, this offer remains compelling, especially for current Xfinity subscribers, but keep in mind that it ends on March 31.
