Samsung has been diligently working to deliver the much-awaited One UI 7.0 update to its users. Unfortunately, the release has faced delays and is now scheduled for April.
The company announced that the rollout will commence in the United States on April 10 and globally on April 7. They also outlined some Galaxy devices that will get the update, although notably absent were several older flagship models.
Despite this, Samsung has indicated plans to include some of its older premium devices in the One UI 7.0 update, albeit the initial announcement did not list them. However, Samsung Singapore has provided a broader list that features several older Galaxy flagships and tablets among the first to receive the update.
The well-known Galaxy S21 series will also be included in the One UI 7.0 rollout. It’s worth mentioning that some of the expected AI features within the update will not be available across all eligible devices.
Notably, Writing Assist and Drawing Assist will only be accessible to devices like the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and a select few others. Similarly, the Audio Eraser feature will be exclusive to the latest models like the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The rollout will have staggered timing; for instance, users in Singapore can expect their update starting April 14, with the Galaxy S24 series leading the way in upgrades. Overall, Samsung fans are encouraged to stay tuned for more information as the release dates approach.
