Rumored One UI 7 stable update for Galaxy S24: Anticipation grows, but past disappointments linger.

Posted on 12 March 2025

Rumors suggest that Samsung might skip the One UI 7 Beta 5 for the Galaxy S24 series, moving directly to the stable version instead. Tarun Vats shared this news on X, but he advises caution, encouraging users to take this information with skepticism. Samsung’s track record with the One UI updates has been unpredictable, leading many to approach such claims with caution.

Initially, the One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy S24 series launched in early December. However, since then, the process has been quite turbulent, with multiple updates lacking clarity on the release of the stable version. The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 series share only minimal differences, which has disappointed some fans.

While a new chip features in the latter, many users expected more significant advancements. According to previous statements from Samsung, the official rollout of One UI 7 stable is anticipated to begin in April. This timeframe casts some doubt on Vats’ rumor, suggesting potential confusion in the information being circulated.

For now, it appears the Galaxy S25 users are experiencing a more stable UI, while Galaxy S24 users are left waiting in beta limbo, which has become increasingly frustrating. It is also worth noting that there might be a gap between the last beta release and the official stable version if the fifth beta has indeed been canceled. This lack of clear communication from Samsung has led many to question the rationale behind the delaying tactics.

Overall, users are urged to keep an eye out for any updates or developments, but maintaining realistic expectations seems prudent given the past inconsistencies in rollout timelines.
