Are you looking for a flagship smartphone that’s more compact than the large models available today? OnePlus believes there’s a demand for that and is preparing to introduce a smaller variant of its latest flagship, now referred to as the OnePlus 13T. Following a similar strategy as Samsung with the Galaxy S25 series, OnePlus aims to cater to a variety of size preferences among its users.
Previously rumored as the OnePlus 13 Mini, the OnePlus 13T is anticipated to launch in May, according to reliable leaker Smart Pikachu. This upcoming model has caught attention for several noteworthy features that differentiate it from the standard OnePlus 13. One of the most impressive aspects is its expected 6,000 mAh battery, a significant achievement for a compact phone and a notable upgrade compared to Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25, which will have a smaller 4,000 mAh battery.
In terms of display size, the OnePlus 13T will have a 6.3-inch screen, notably smaller than the 6.82-inch screen of the OnePlus 13. Camera specifications will differ as well: the OnePlus 13T is reported to feature a 50-megapixel dual camera setup, while the regular model boasts a triple camera. Additionally, the OnePlus 13T will utilize an optical fingerprint sensor, in contrast to the advanced ultrasonic sensor found in its predecessor.
Powering the OnePlus 13T will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, placing it in direct competition with other compact flagships like the Xiaomi 15 and Samsung Galaxy S25. Interestingly, OnePlus aims to offer this model at a lower price point, potentially making it the most affordable option in the mid-size bracket. If the rumors are accurate, the OnePlus 13T may become a formidable contender in the flagship market.
