Important Update for Nothing Phone (3a) Pro Pre-Order Customers: Sit Down Before Reading!

Posted on 22 March 2025

If you’ve pre-ordered the new Nothing Phone (3a) Pro and were looking forward to receiving it next week, there may be some disappointing news. Customers have begun receiving emails from Nothing indicating that shipments are delayed. Recently introduced, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is positioned as a reliable mid-range option to compete with devices like the newly-announced Pixel 9a and the Galaxy A56.

The demand for this phone has evidently been so high that the company is struggling to fulfill orders on time. Expected shipments were set to start on March 25; however, pre-order customers may need to brace themselves for a longer wait. According to the company’s communication, some customers have been informed via email that their devices will be shipped later than anticipated.

Nothing admitted that they “forgot” to mention the new delivery timeline and noted that the surge in demand has caught them off guard. They now expect to ship pre-orders by April 15, marking a three-week delay from the initially promised date. Currently, this delay primarily affects pre-orders within Europe.

For example, in Spain, the black variant of the phone might begin shipping on March 31, while the gray variant is scheduled for April 15. In the U.S., due to high demand, Nothing has halted pre-orders altogether. In contrast, the Phone (3a) Pro is available in India, with next-day deliveries available in most cities for the gray variant.

Despite the hiccup in logistics, pre-order customers are receiving bonus items such as a free charger or Nothing earbuds, depending on their selection during the ordering process. While the sold-out situation may frustrate eager customers, it reflects positively on Nothing’s growing reputation. The Phone (3a) Pro has received praise for its unique design and solid specifications, including a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display, 12GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Although it may not be the best choice for gaming, it is a commendable option for everyday use.
