European Technology Enhances MVNO Performance on T-Mobile’s 5G Network

Posted on 12 March 2025

Telness Tech, a Swedish company headquartered in Stockholm, has announced its entry into the U.S. market through a strategic partnership with T-Mobile. The firm specializes in self-service cloud PBX solutions and will provide its software to Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) utilizing T-Mobile’s advanced 5G network. This collaboration aims to enhance operational efficiency, automate workflows, and elevate customer experiences.

Founded in 2022 as a spin-off from Telness, known for being one of Europe’s top-rated mobile operators, Telness Tech has developed advanced Operations Support System (OSS) and Business Support System (BSS) solutions. OSS encompasses critical functions like order management, network operations, and inventory management, while BSS covers aspects such as order capture, customer relationship management, and billing, ensuring MVNOs have all the essential tools for seamless operations. CEO and Founder Marina Klingvall expressed enthusiasm about this milestone, emphasizing how this partnership combines their automation-driven platform with T-Mobile’s state-of-the-art 5G network.

This alliance is expected to give MVNOs the competitive edge needed in the global telecom market. Telness Tech’s offering promises to fully automate the customer journey, contributing to cost reduction and improved customer satisfaction. Their robust platform, refined over seven years, includes a diverse range of features such as eSIM support, advanced billing, CRM, and IoT capabilities, all in one comprehensive solution.

Furthermore, the self-service ticket system empowers customers to manage 80% of support tickets independently, potentially speeding up resolution times. Moreover, critical processes like porting and provisioning are automated, allowing for seamless integration with various telecom networks. While these innovations hold promise for improved customer experiences, the real impact on end users and the balance of advantages versus disadvantages remains to be evaluated.
